Hey local friends! Next week we’re getting a new TV and would thus like to hand off our old TV to a good home. It’s a 10-year-old Panasonic 46” plasma. Not many ppl making plasma TVs anymore, but this one is in great shape. (Plasma, like OLED, lights each pixel individually so the blacks are blacker & the range of contrast is higher.) Free, if we’re buddies and you’re local and it would be a genuine upgrade for you.

One reason I like wearing this shirt is that it makes me think about what it means to me. I’m mostly not a machine and I don’t currently kill fascists (nor is that something I’m realistically cut out to do, and I hope it doesn’t come to that). But it’s also not really a WWII or Woody Guthrie reference for me. I mean, it is, objectively, but that’s not why I wear it. Maybe it’s sufficient that it moves the Overton window w/r/t fascist-killing, ever so slightly, for anyone who sees it.

Favorite new trend: LEDs on bathroom vent fans. Pros: now a hearing-impaired maintenance technician can tell if the fan is getting power. Cons: everyone else is now slightly concerned that there may be a camera hidden behind the grating over the toilet.
