Having just added aftermarket adjustable feet to this one IKEA desk in order to get it to the same height as this other IKEA desk (because yes, they don’t have a standard desk height in Sweden, not even for two desks sold by the same company at the same time), I assume I am now permitted to refer to myself in all future correspondence as an IKEA Hacker.

So if you buy a standing desk from the @hermanmiller brand Fully, they include a branded outlet strip that you are supposed to mount upside-down under the desktop, and plug the motor and two built-in outlets into. And then, a couple of years later, because they sourced the cheapest plastic outlet strip they could find, the plastic case comes apart, and the guts of the thing — specifically, exposed 120VAC bus bar — falls off and onto the floor, or your legs, or whatever else is nearby. TL;DR: do not, under any circumstances, buy a standing desk from @hermanmiller brand Fully.
