Duke Endoscopy waiting room with like 7 people in it. This is not OK. Duke has had more than four years to improve their ventilation at their facilities. Also yes, I am the only one here wearing a mask, staff included.
Pump Station scene report. Based on the number of dogs (including several off leash) and the number of abandoned poop bags, I don’t think I want to make this one a regular stop, as it’s too heavily trafficked by thoughtless people and thus unlikely to yield much in the way of cool critters to look at.
Gonna write a book about Chapel Hill but it’s just gonna be one page that reads “Celebrate the New Dark Age is the greatest recording ever to emerge from Chapel Hill North Carolina.”
I feel like if campaigns are gonna text spam everyone — and Congress would never cut off their own campaign tools — then at least they should be required to make the celebrity endorsers actually read the replies.

← Toured the old police station today.

Now that I have seen its interior, I’m even more convinced that Durham needs to preserve and restore Milton Small’s Home Security Life building, which most of Durham knows as the old police HQ. It has great bones, and if the 70s/80s interior offices retrofit were ripped out, it would be as much a cutting-edge architectural jewel as it was when it was designed in the 50s. →
